Florida law does make it illegal to manufacture, sell, or expose for sale any instrument or weapon of the kind usually known as brass or metallic knuckles.  It is important to remember that you may not carry weapons concealed unless you have a Concealed Weapon and Firearm License or CWFL in Florida.  Further, even if you do have a CWFL you may only conceal carry the weapons which are covered by that license, which include a handgun, electronic weapon, tear gas, knife, or billie.  Therefore, brass knuckles are not allowed to be carry concealed even if you have a CWFL.

Local Laws Vary

Further, please be aware that although the State of Florida has preempted firearm law, which means local governments cannot regulate firearms, the State did not preempt local governments from making laws regarding other weapons.  This means that although it is not illegal under State law to possess Brass knuckles, the county or city in which you live may regulate the possession of these or non-firearm weapons.  If traveling throughout the state, you would need to check the county and city ordinances of each place you are intending to travel in or through to ensure that you could lawfully carry brass knuckles in each place.
